This beloved celebration brings together friends, families, and community organizations to enjoy the festive atmosphere filled with delicious food, vibrant music, and, of course, fun games. This year, United Way of Ellis County is excited to join in the festivities by bringing back the popular Mug Toss game!

At United Way of Ellis County, we're more than middlemen for nonprofits and direct community impact is at the heart of what we do. Oktoberfest provides the perfect backdrop for us to connect with locals, share our mission, and raise awareness about the vital work we do throughout the year. By participating in the Mug Toss, we’re not only offering a fun activity for festival-goers, but we’re also fostering community spirit and encouraging everyone to come together for a good cause.
Join Us for Some Friendly Competition
The Mug Toss game is a favorite among festival attendees, challenging players to toss ping pong balls into mugs to win them. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-time player, everyone is welcome to join in the fun! Our enthusiastic volunteers will be on hand to help you with your toss, cheer you on, and share information about United Way’s initiatives such as our ongoing recruitment of volunteers to help kids become financially literate before they reach adulthood at RealityU which you can learn more about here!

Participating in events like Oktoberfest allows us to highlight the programs and services that we support within Ellis County. From fostering youth opportunity, promoting a healthy community, and providing financial security, to building community resiliency, United Way is committed to creating lasting change.
